Sharpen your pencils ...

WHAT: Attending 25th North Iowa Writers Workshop

WHY: Because you enjoy writing, you want to get helpful tips from professionals and you'd enjoy hanging out for day with others who have the same interests as you have.

And what a day it will be. Speakers include:

JOHN SKIPPER: newspaper reporter and columnist, author of 14 books, who has spoken twice at the National Writers Workshop.

JO ANN LOWER: Master storyteller who will inspire you to write your own stories with passion and insight.

GERALD MAGEE: Retired district court judge who is an expert at writing short, short, short stories - and will show you how.

Plus - lively, fun classroom exercises and plenty of time to pick the brains of the professionals and learn from one another.

All of this for a $10 registration fee.
